TIFF is a flexible format used by scanners, publishers and photographers. It can hold uncompressed or losslessly compressed pixels, multiple pages and high bit depths.
TIFF converterPDF Portable Document Format
PDF fixes the layout of a document so it looks the same on every screen and printer. It can contain text, vector graphics, images, forms and signatures, which is why it is the standard for invoices, contracts and forms.

Why convert TIFF to PDF?
TIFF files come from scanners, fax software and print workflows, and a single page can run to tens of megabytes. Files are large and web browsers cannot display TIFF directly. Choose PDF to send images as one document, print them at a fixed page size, or attach them to a form that asks for PDF.
TIFF to PDF settings
Each TIFF becomes one page. Choose A4, Letter or a page that matches the image size, set the margin and orientation, and drag the thumbnails to change the page order before creating the PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Will the PDF lose quality?
PDF uses lossy compression, so some fine detail is discarded to make the file smaller. At the default quality setting the difference is very hard to see. Raise the quality slider if you need the result to stay closer to the TIFF original.
Is transparency kept when converting TIFF to PDF?
PDF cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with a solid colour. White is used by default; you can pick any background colour in the options before converting.
