Recording computer sound
When you share a browser tab, Chrome and Edge can record that tab's sound on every operating system: keep “Also share tab audio” ticked. Sound from the entire screen is only available on Windows and ChromeOS. On Linux, choose your sound card's “Monitor” input as the microphone to record everything the computer plays; on macOS, a loopback driver such as BlackHole does the same. Microphone audio works everywhere once you allow access.

Is there a time limit?
No. The recording is held in memory, so the practical limit is your device's RAM; an hour of 1080p usually works fine.
